Khmer National Curriculum

Our Khmer National Curriculum follows the guidelines and requirements of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Cambodia to ensure our students are well-versed in their culture and heritage. Our Khmer National curriculum is designed to nurture well-rounded students, blending knowledge, skills, and values for a bright future. It allows our students to gain a strong academic foundation while embracing Cambodian culture, history, and ethics.

Secondary School Grade 9-12

SGIS International School offers students a four-year program based on the esteemed Ontario (Canadian) curriculum, culminating in the prestigious Ontario Secondary School Diploma(OSSD). This globally recognized qualification opens doors to top universities and career opportunities worldwide, ensuring our students are equipped for success in a competitive world.

The OSSD is delivered at SGIS in partnership with Virtual High School Ontario (VHS). Students are taught by qualified and experienced SGIS teachers, who plan and deliver engaging learning experiences. All assessments are marked by accredited teachers at VHS ensuring students are on track to receive their OSSD qualification.

By partnering with VHS, we are able to offer students a broad range of subjects which can be tailored to their particular interests and strengths. The OSSD is a four-year program with the students receiving their diploma at the end of Grade 12. The OSSD is one of the most widely recognized high school diplomas in the world and is officially recognized by all of the top universities in over 130 countries.

Special Needs Programme

SGIS Special Needs Education Programme is a unique and innovative programme that supports children with various neurodiversities, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia and more.

We aim to help these children to develop their social skills, self-esteem and academic potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. We offer individualised care and attention, as well as opportunities for peer interaction and collaboration. At SGIS, we celebrate diversity and empower our students to thrive in their own way.
