Trash bag Fashion Show: A Creative Way to Raise Environmental Awareness

Students of SGIS International School, have put on a spectacular fashion show using recycled materials such as newspapers, plastic bags, and bottle caps. The show was part of their project to promote environmental sustainability and reduce waste.

The fashion show was opened by Mr. Louwtjie, the year 5 and 6 teacher, who wore an amazing outfit made out of a black bag and bottle caps. He strutted the catwalk to the song “Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer, drawing cheers and applause from the audience. Then, the rest of the year 5 and 6 students showed off their creative and colourful outfits to the song “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred.

The fashion show was a great success and received positive feedback from the, teachers, and students who attended. The students said they enjoyed making their outfits and learned a lot about recycling and reusing materials. They also hoped to inspire others to be more environmentally conscious and creative.

The trash bag fashion show was one of the many activities that the school has organized to raise awareness about environmental issues. We want to thank the following year 5 and 6 students for an amazing show. Eva, Visoth, Stephanie, Kiri, Sovda, Yuti, Sammie, Thiroth, Long, and Sovath.
