We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you:
SGIS International School has joined the Students Rebuild Global art project 2023 -2024 as TEAM SGIS!
This is an amazing initiative that invites students from all over the world to create art out of recycled materials and raise funds for environmental causes.
The theme of this year’s project is Extraordinary Earth, which celebrates the beauty and diversity of our planet and inspires us to take action to protect it. By participating in this project, our students will have the opportunity to learn about the environment and what we can do to protect our local and global ecosystems through art. They will also be able to connect with other students and “artivists” from different countries and cultures who share the same passion and vision for a greener future.
The best part is that for each piece of art we create out of recycled materials, the Bezos Family Foundation will donate $5 to organisations tackling environmental issues responding to the climate crisis across the world. These organisations include Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy, and World Wildlife Fund, among others.
We are so proud of our students for taking part in this meaningful project and we can’t wait to see what they will create and share with the world. Let’s make a difference together!
